Full-time position as event coordinator. The right candidate will have to the opportunity to advance quickly. Applicant should be proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, and Canva. Applicant must be a self-starter, a team worker with excellent organizational skills, customer service skills and verbal/written communication skills. Some evenings and weekends will be required.

- Experience working in an office/professional environment
- Well-organized with a keen attention to detail, must be able to proofread and correct mistakes
- Excellent writing and communicating skills
- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal supervision
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook
- Must be proficient in Canva or have the ability to learn
- Must be able to work to become proficient in ChamberMaster software
- Familiar with Ruidoso and Lincoln County in such a manner that you can answer questions from our visitors and provide directions to attractions
- Assist Director with event organization including contacting vendors, setting up events, and attending and working all events
- Assist Director with Chamber’s radio program Chamber Chat which is recorded weekly. Candidate will assist with finding and booking radio guests.
- Record Ruidoso Roundup weekly and send to radio stations
- Assist Director with social media
- Answer phones as needed
- Assist Director as needed
- Assist in the Visitor Center as needed
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs
